A better example of the chinese food in town with both take-out and sit-in food, but no delivery. Their menu is varied, including both chinese food (All the usual types) and Japanese food (Sushi rolls and Nabe-style hot pots). Their ingredients and especially Japanese menu listings have specials that frequently change to keep things fresh. Staff are warm and welcoming.

Wonderful service and food. The soup is always delicious and a great deal. Also they will cook things (like broccoli) extra long for you if you have dietary needs.

Great place to eat. Lots of authentic food to choosr from as well as the standard Americanized Chinese food. Japanese entrees as well.

I cannot emphasize my love for China Panda enough. First off, for being in Athens, Ohio, the sushi isn't bad. My personal favorite dish is the orange chicken, which is absolutely delightful. Most importantly, this Chinese restaurant has the best service! If you are a regular, like myself, the staff remembers you and your order. They are kind and make sure that you are getting the best bang for your buck. In my opinion, this is the best Chinese restaurant in Athens.

Always really good Chinese food. Spicy dishes are generally not that spicy so request extra spicy if you want.

One of my go-to places in Athens. To dine in or take out. My favorite is the hot and sour soup that you can get by the quart inexpensively for takeout. Haven't had a bad dish here, ever.

The food was delicious. The sushi was very good. The impressive part was our service. Our waitress was outstanding! She never missed any request we gave her. We will visit again.

My favorite Asian restaurant! The food is always good whether you order Chinese, Japanese, or Sushi entrees. They are happy to make a dish just as you like it. And they have a choice of white or brown rice which I really appreciate.

Ordered 5 entrees. Repeated our order multiple times to what sounded like a child on the phone and China Panda confirmed. We had a family member drive 30 minutes round trip to pickup the food. We realized after they returned home that they left out one entree and no sauces for spring rolls. I called to request the food and they refused. It's a shame as they appear to be a nice family. Very disappointed.

Truly some of the best Chinese food I've had in a while. The waiters were very nice, the restaurant was extremely clean. In the food was well-prepared and season properly. Very good size portions and good on price as well. Would recommend going.

I had a simple green bean with fry tofu and steam rice. Simple but easily the best Chinese dish I have ever had. Definitely 5 stars.

Spent over $100 at china panda to find a roach in my noodles so when I called to get a refund their children who they force to work there answered only to offer a $25 refund on a $100 .... anyways got my money back but the lady slammed the door in my face and was very rude if I could rate this any lower it would be in the negatives...

"Serves Japanese & Chinese grub" sounds about right because I found a worm in my food.

We were traveling through and picked up dinner to eat at the hotel. I ordered online which was easy and quick. When I walked into the restaurant, I was greeted by the most professional and friendly 10 year old I've ever met. He took my payment and checked on my order. He brought it out with a smile. We enjoyed the beef & broccoli and general tso's. The oyakodon was a little more stir fry than a traditional donburi dish, in my opinion.

This is our yearly christmas evening go to spot. We love the atmosphere, we love the employees, and we love the food. The service is always amazing and the promptness of the staff is on point the whole dining experience. If you havent tried china panda I recommend giving it a shot whether you are in the mood for regular chinese food. In the mood for sushi, or in the mood for Japanese. I have tried a little bit from every section somethings I like others not so much but I love coming here with my family.
